Mikiko is the founder and CEO of T-ism Corporation (formerly, MK Partners Co., Ltd. (MKP), a boutique consulting/executive coaching firm headquartered in Tokyo. She is widely recognized as an experienced consultant/coach to senior executives as well as an excellent facilitator of corporate and professional workshops. She is also a sought-after translator in the fields of investment, finance and management. Before establishing MKP in 1998, she held a position as a senior-level research/sales professional at two prestigious US investment banks for a total of 13 years.

Mikiko found Mind Maps in 1984 when she was an MBA candidate. She still remembers how excited she was when she finished reading “Use Your Head" by Tony Buzan. Deeply impressed with the concept, she started using Mind Maps for virtually everything. As her dream of becoming a BLI has finally come true, she is devoting much time and energy into spreading Mental Literacy.

Kyoji is an independent Human Resource consultant, specializing in assessment programs for promotion to company executives. He is also known as a specialist in social insurance and an author of business books. Before starting his own business in 1995, he worked for TOSHIBA, a leading-edge electronics company in Japan, as a sales representative in charge of East and Southeast Asian countries. 

Kyoji loves music (CD listening as well as acoustic guitar playing), art, nature, and especially surfing! He has traveled all over the world, including Australia, Bali, and Florida to ride on the waves. With “Go for it!” as his motto, he enjoys his life as if he were surfing the Hawaiian big waves.

He earned a BA in Law from Waseda University.

Shingo is an in-house instructor in charge of management training for executives at a leading primary oil distributor in Japan. 

Shingo encountered Mind Maps almost miraculously during the most challenging period in his career. He says he was able to find a means of survival through Mind Mapping. Furthermore, the concept helped him find a way to pursue his lifework of answering “What is Japanese (people)?”, a crucial question which came up to his mind while he was in France as a student. He became a BLI to share his wonderful experience as a Mind Mapper and support others.

Shingo, an excellent tennis player, loves sports. He also enjoys collecting European and Japanese antiques and fitting them nicely into his modern house. 

He earned a BA in French Language and Literature from Kansei University. While at college, he studied at Aix Marseille �V University in France for a year.

Hiro was born in Osaka, Japan in 1966. He got a bachelor of Science (Physics) at Kinki University. In his twenties, he pursued his career in various fields such as a computer engineer, fitness instructor and marine sports instructor.

In his thirties, while running a windsurfing school in Japan, he was active as a (professional) windsurfer in Australia where he won a championship in　２０００. In 2001 when he was two miles off the coast of Maui in training for an advanced technique,which nobody but one could perform in the world, he failed to splash down.He had a very narrow escape through six-meter high waves with his broken　foot.He retired as a windsurfer through the injury.

Now, in his forties, he is leading a lifestyle in which he share ideas and　insights　regarding freedom and creativity with many people, having given lectures　titled　"Fulfill Your Dreams", "Lifework" and "Mind Maps".

Hisae is Director in charge of Instructor Relations at Buzan Centre Worldwide Japan K.K. (BCWJ). Previously, she was a business consultant/coach, focusing mainly on female entrepreneurs and executives.

Hisae believes that her life has changed completely ever since she found Mind Maps in 2004. Indeed, she has already achieved many of the objectives she elaborated on her vision and mission mindmaps three years ago. Having experienced a paradigm shift through mind mapping, she is currently devoting 100% of her time and energy on diffusing Mind Mapps and Mental Literacy all over Japan.

She has earned a BA in Philosophy and Behavioral Science from Chiba University.

Ken is the founder and CEO of Salut Co., Ltd. He started as a system/network engineer and an instructor of security management/internet networking, fresh out of college. Soon after, he expanded his career into education by teaching elementary and junior-high school students at a private tutoring school.

Ken read about Mind Maps in 2000 and became fascinated with the concept right away. He immediately researched on the topic online and read the books by Tony Buzan as well as those on related subjects, including neuro sciences. Recognizing that Mind Maps helped him greatly in expressing himself better and studying in a more brain friendly way, he started sharing information and his thought on his website.

Encounter with Mind Maps was a life-changing event to Ken. Notably, he met many brilliant people, including Tony Buzan and Chris Griffith (Managing Director of Buzan Online Limited.) 

Ken is currently working on the iMindMap project as the project leader and the first Japanese of iMindMap Certified instructor.

Ken earned his BA in Chemistry from Tokyo University of Science.

Etsuko is like a "Senju-Kannon", or at least she thinks it is her mission to live like one. Senju-Kannon is literally translated as "a deity of mercy with thousand hands". She is a goddess of mercy and compassion, helping people with her thousand hands.

As a Mindmap instructor, a PhotoReading instructor, a trainer of English pronunciation, a translator and a Reiki (Japanese hands-on-healing) teacher, Etsuko has been helping a lot of people with their health-related or learning-related problems, always considering the best way for each person. She has raised two children, both of who are working already, and she likes domestic work as well as her profession. In accomplishing all these roles, Mindmap is an indispensable resource for her to organize.

One of her hobbies is Japanese embroidery, in which she uses both hands to stitch, one above the big embroidery frame and the other under it. Whether at work, in daily work or in hobbies, she does need a thousand hands!! She thinks that the beautiful image of "Senju-Kannon" looks very much like a Mindmap.

Toshiaki is the founder and CEO of Power Brain Corporation, a preparatory school and extra curricular center operator headquartered in Fukushima. He is also known as an education consultant with expertise in entrepreneurship education. Prior to establishing the company in 1998, he worked for a couple of companies, including a foreign life insurance corporation.

Toshiaki learned from his teenage experience that education is not a given. As his father’s business failure temporarily prevented him from going to school, he realized the importance of learning how to learn as well as of having relentless curiosity. Years later, he found the value of having fun while learning through Mind Maps. His students are proving the effectiveness of Mind Mapping, learning well while having fun.

During free time, Toshiaki (aka an excellent chef) enjoys cooking.

Tetsuo, one of the earliest adopters of Mind Maps in Japan, first encountered the concept in 1987.

Ever since, he has been using Mind Maps in various fields of his life, including professional architectural design and adult education. Notably, he gained certification as a first-class architect in 1992 by applying Mind Maps to a year of preparation. This experience made him convinced that people of all ages could become brilliant by learning how to learn. 

Throughout his architect career until 1999, he used Mind Maps to design various buildings. Tetsuo has many other successful experiences as well, including mastering NLP through Mind Mapping. Based on his own experience, he is currently spending time and effort on teaching how everyone can improve Mental Literacy by learning Mind Maps. 

Tetsuo earned a BA in Architectonics from the Department of Science and Engineering of Nihon University in 1980.

Katsumasa is a design specialist with profound knowledge of product, information, and communication design. He is also a MITI-qualified Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultant. Prior to starting his own business, he worked at a design research institute of a leading Japanese electronic company for about 10 years. His responsibilities as a researcher included not only to come up with a good design but also to consider what and how to design. Through this experience, he learned a way to think simultaneously about methodology and practice .

Katsumasa’s definition of “design” has been expanding. He currently defines the word as “creative problem solving”, which covers business as well. He began to focus on combining “design” and “business” in 2003 and drew more than 3,000 Mind Maps during the following three years. From his own experience, he is convinced that Mind Mapping really works for everyone in unleashing one’s natural abilities.

Katsumasa earned an MA in Design Engineering from Chiba University in 1987．

内藤誠治インストラクターは立命館大学経営学部卒。
伝承工匠・祇園・ない藤　−京履物司-　　5代目当主を2006年に継承し、
京都を拠点として活動しています。

師匠である父の元で、 技術、信念、哲学と思考法を学んでいるころ、
彼は、このチャレンジングな期間に、マインドマップに出会いました。
彼は、マインドマップにより、師匠と自分自身の間に
視点の違いがあるということを理解するために大いに役立ったと言っています。
それから彼は師匠のことばの理解が大変深まり、

Seiji is the fifth generation master of Naitoh, a long-established shop of custom-made Japanese traditional footwear based in Kyoto. Before becoming the master in 2006, he honed his skills under his father for about 8 years to succeed the master’s work, belief, philosophy, and mindset. Seiji encountered Mind Maps during this challenging and somewhat difficult period.

He says Mind Maps helped him see the whole picture to recognize that the difference in perspectives between his master and himself was totally acceptable. That was a breakthrough experience for Seiji and he began to be inspired by his master’s words. 

Encouraged by this experience, Seiji started to think that Mind Mapping is crucial in turning over his position to his son. His initial purpose of learning Mind Maps directly from Tony Buzan was to teach the concept to his son. But now as a BLI, he is dreaming of spreading Mind Maps to children all over the world to unleash their natural abilities.

He earned a BA in Business Administration from Ritsumeikan University.

Tommy is the CEO of Speaking-Essay Inc., a communication consulting/coaching firm based in Yokohama. He is a sought-after public speaker, a facilitator, and an instructor for training programs and workshops to make participants become powerful communicators. Prior to joining the company in 2005, he held front line sales positions at ceramics, architecture, and public relation companies. His communication expertise is a blend of the latest knowledge and his fruitful experience.

Tommy, an active member at a Toastmasters club since 1993, found Mind Maps at a Toastmaster meeting and was enchanted with it right away. His long-held desire to become a licensed Mind Map instructor is finally a reality.

He is also known as an author of several communication books, some of which are translated into Korean.

Tommy holds a BA in Literature from Kansai University. He was a delegate to the 35th Japan America Students Conference.

Shiro earned MA in Accounting and MS in Information Technology from the Daniel College of Business at University of Denver, as well as US CPA.

He has been promoted as the youngest person in the global management consulting company thanks to mindmap. The meeting with mindmap and Tony Buzan has chaned his life and work dramatically as he longs for.

He has become a board member of Buzan Center Japan after successfull career in a global consulting firm and a private equity fund seriving as a business planning manager.

Masafumi is Director in charge of Strategic Planning at Buzan Centre Worldwide Japan K.K. (BCWJ). Prior to joining BCWJ, he was Chief Executive Officer at Style Works Group, a management consulting company based in Tokyo.

He read one of Tony Buzan’s books when he was a consultant and became a mind mapper. Ever since, he has been using Mind Maps heavily for various purposes. Masafumi believes that major benefits of using Mind Maps include a number of encounters, less stress, and enhanced memory. 

Masafumi earned an MA in Economics from Niigata University.

神田昌典主催の「社長のアカデミー賞」2002年優秀賞を受賞しています。

彼は予備校生だった1982年12月にトニー・ブザンの『頭がよくなる本』に出会い、
マインドマップを使って大学受験を成功させて以来25年間、
四半世紀の間マインドマップを使ってきました。

2006年ついにトニー・ブザンから直接研修を受け、
マインドマップの広げる人の可能性に魅了され、
すべての地位を投げ出しマインドマップを日本に普及させる活動に身を投じています。

Ichiro is currently a full-time instructor of Mind Maps. He started his career at The McDonald’s Company (Japan) Ltd. and graduated from the Hamburger University at the top of the class. After having achieved his goals at McDonald’s, he moved to a therapist school, where he performed lectures more than 1,000 times. Moreover, his creative sales letters contributed greatly to a significant increase in sales. 

Ichiro is one of the most experienced Mind Mappers in Japan. He read “Use Your Head” by Tony Buzan in December 1982, when he was a cram school student. He believes that note taking in the Mind Map format enabled him to pass the entrance exam to a university of very high standard. 

Ichiro met Tony Buzan for the first time in 2006 after having used Mind Maps for a quarter century. Encouraged by the potential of the underlying concept, he decided to concentrate all his efforts on spreading Mind Maps in Japan.

He earned a BA in Political Economy from Waseda University.

Miki is the founder and CEO of Human Respect Co., Ltd., a management consulting company based in Tokyo. She is a MITI-qualified Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultant as well as a judge of Japan Quality Award, which was modeled after the self assessment theory of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. 

Miki has a unique background. She started her career as a business staff member at Shiki, a leading musical theatre company in Japan. One day, she realized that she wanted to become a chanson singer and decided to leave the firm. Her dream came true and she appeared on stage for many years before winning the Grand Prix at a chanson singers' competition.

Miki says she has become a ‘genuine’ Mind Mapper after she attended the first BLI training program in Japan in November 2006, although she had found the concept in 2001. Currently, she is actively involved in various projects for introducing Mind Maps to Japanese society.

She holds a BA in Journalism from Sophia University. 

Masato Uchiyama is a master of judo and a fifth "dan" degree holder.
Judo was initiated by Jigoro Kano in a Japanese dojo studio with a few students. First it was just a small step, but it has spreaded out in the world by the people who love peace and judo has given a great education effect. Uchiyama thinks that the core spirit of Mind Map resembles that of judo very much. He also strongly feels that the power of Mind Map is equal to the power of judo.
He teaches Mind Maping to children in Japan now. Children can develop broder point of view by learning Mind Maping. Therefore he wants to continue teaching them Mind Maping.

マインドマップが子ども達の潜在能力を解放するのを見て、 彼女はマインドマップのコンセプトが 教育に大いに貢献することを確信しました。

彼女はＢＬＩとして、子どもや保護者にマインドマップを教えています。

Kyoko started a private preparatory school with her husband in 1995. They chose to open a school outside of Tokyo to provide higher-quality learning experiences in the suburbs. Since then, she has taught more than 1,000 schoolchildren of various ages. 

Having witnessed how Mind Maps helped children unleash their natural abilities, she became convinced that the concept would contribute greatly to education. She heard them say "Now I see it!”so many times. As a qualified BLI, she currently teaches Mind Maps to her students and to their parents. Much to her pleasure, they have recognized that they are naturally brilliant and able to solve any problems by taking proper actions and that the answers lie within them. 

She is currently studying child development and education at The Open University of Japan.

矢嶋美由希インストラクターは

Miyuki operates her successful business "Re Prism" and works with individuals in the coaching context to achieve personal goals. She is also known as a child-care consultant, an NLP master practitioner, and an instructor of several learning methods. Previously, Miyuki was a public nursery school teacher for 20 years. The cumulative number of children she has helped exceeds 2,000. Miyuki decided to further her studies on psychology and went back to college in 2003, believing that providing a professional support to parents is crucial in facilitating healthy development of children.

Miyuki read "The Mind Map Book" in 2005 and became convinced that the concept was what she had been searching for. Currently, she is actively involved in the effort to spread Mind Maps in Japan.

Hirokazu Yabuki is Director in charge of Sales Department at Buzan Centres Worldwide Japan KK (BCWJ). 

Before joining BCWJ, he was President of L-Process, a successful IT consulting and training company based in Tokyo. Hirokazu is arguably one of the most experienced and energetic corporate trainers in Japan. He has been instrumental in introducing and spreading Mind Maps in the Japanese society. 

He earned a BA in information technology and robotics from Ritsumeika University.
